Like many people who have found there way over to insanejournal, I am here mostly just because I'm fed up with what SUP is(are?) doing to LJ. I still have my LJ account. I'll still be updating my LJ account until I've lost all hope... but now I've at least got a backup for when LJ finally goes completely down the tubes.

So... about me...

Well, my name, as I would prefer to go by, is 'Xarenna/Dominic'. I almost always sign off my posts with 'x/d' (so when you see that, I'm not clenching my eyes shut and sticking out my tongue, heh...). If you're wanting to call me something, I'm fine with pretty much any variation of that name that you would be able to come up with - xaren, xarenna, dominic, dom, x/d are all 100% cool (x/d is sort of preferred). I, as of this moment, have seventeen years under my belt - this will change in August (oh how I hate having such a late birthday, and yet such an early one...). I won't go into gender, because it's complicated and either way I go is either not true or I will not like it, so we'll keep that at a neutral state (despite the fact that it's pretty much obvious...).

On LJ I'm xarenna, as well as at deviantArt, fanfiction.net, and FictionPress.com. I've not really posted much to any of these places as of yet, but I'm certainly working on it. I have quite a few things in the works at this very moment.

I am a slash-o-holic... honestly, pretty much everything I do is connected to my obsession with slash in some way, as much as I really do sort-of hate to say it. When it comes to writing or drawing things that are in anyway romantic, or really have anything to do with 'togetheriness' between two people as a main subject, the two people are almost exclucively male, though I have been known to venture into femslash, and have occasionally stumbled into het...

I am not a conversationalist. Not in real life, and not on the internet. I love to talk, but I never know what to say, so I don't, and this translates over to how I often am on the internet. I honestly just cannot ever come up with somthing to say that I fully like. I will sit for an hour trying to come up with something to say in response to one person's post. As such is the case, I feel I must go ahead and appologise for times when I simply do not reply to things. I'm honestly not ignoring anyone, I simply have no idea what to say, as usually these comments are compliments and... well, I adore compliments, but I've no idea how to respond to them. I do always try to respond to other's comments though.

As I stated before, I do like to talk, so please do comment and such... I'd honestly like to meet people with whom I have common interests, and hopefully make some friends.
